Alien invasion starts in Ohio.

Operation was a failure.

Upon reaching the landing site, the troops were attacked and slaughtered before they were able to set up a forward command base.

Terrestrial forces were extremely aggressive and difficult to kill. Update on bipedal Terrestrials is pending.

The only survivors were onboard a single drop ship that happened to witness the carnage before landing and successfully retreated.

Our failure to establish a forward command base is a heavy indicator that our forces are not prepared to attack a deathworld of this caliber.

I recommend that planet Terra-3 should immediately be reviewed for upgrade to D-13 classification in light of these revelations.

It is also noteworthy that, while our forces were attacked by Terrestrial bipedals, they were not the bipedals we had previously assumed to be the dominant species on Terra-3.

It is also worth noting that, despite our defeat, intelligence has inferred that the native population of 'Humans' is entirely unaware of the event.

I do not recommend further hostilities at this time.
